CardMaster — Card-activated (or
cardless) fuel access at the cost of a keylock. We currently
offer two models:
• CardMaster I, with a capacity of 999 accounts
and memory to store 1500 transactions.
• CardMaster II, also with a 999 account
capacity and memory to store 750
transactions.

Oil Vending Machines — This was our first product.
CVI has four models, which can operate as
stand-alone or, more commonly, tie in a
CardMaster or other commercial cardlock
systems. We offer:
• QuartMaster, which as the name implies
dispenses quarts only of oil from three columns.
• BudgetMaster, a two column machine that can
dispense gallons only or a combination of gallons
and quarts.
• JugMaster II, a three column unit also offering
gallons only or a combination of gallons and
quarts.
• VendMaster, offering optimum selection with six
columns for gallons and/or quart dispensing
or combinations thereof.

GateMaster,
GateController — We have two
means of access control for secured
areas with
driveway gates or limited access doorways:
•GateMaster is a magnetic stripe reader that can
accomodate up to five ISO (system ID) numbers
(the four or five digit encoded code that
identifies the issuer of the card).
•GateController is a modified CardMaster that
records activity into memory and cab be polled or
recorded 'real time' on a journal printer.

Serving large and small
commercial fueling needs
Cardlock Vending is well
into its second decade as a serving the petroleum industry
with cost-efficient controlled-access to petroleum products and
limited access areas.
This privately-held company now is owned by three individuals
with more than 90
years collective experience in the industry. We are proud of
the fact that our owners
are the source of all funds and that we have zero
outside debt other than current
payables.
Our philosophy is to produce high quality
products for:
— Niche, small product markets that others with high overhead cannot
cost-effectively
manufacture for.
— Applications where we can be the 'low cost producer' of products
for larger
product markets where the competition has higher overhead and
manufacturing
costs.
We are proud to have sold internationally, with our products being used not
only in
North America but in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
CVI is a believer in maintaining larger than normal (for the sales volume)
inventory by
means of product standardization. This allows us to ship from
stock for over 90% of
our orders. And we maintain a level of spare parts
using the same rationalization.
Our quality control engineering helps ensure a low demand for replacement parts.
Our products are not designed and manufactured with 'built in obsolescence' that,
sadly, is too common in industry today
In addition to the three primary products we manufacture that are shown on
the left,
Cardlock Vending also manufactures two lines of enclosures:
— Cardreader enclosures, which are 'phone booth'-style
element protection for
both equipment and customers, available in two
styles.
— Utility Enclosures, offered in two models. One model is
designed for
pole-mounting and the other for base mounting. Both have
dual-locked doors and
are ideal for storage of supplies as well as a
journal printer for unmanned
sites or sites where weather protection for
supplies and equipment may be distant
from the fueling island. Both models
of Utility Enclosures have a fan, small heater
for humidity and electrical j-boxes. There are
variations with insulation,
thermostatically-controlled heater and air conditioner.
